Executive chef Szymon Szlendak – for more than four years, he was able to learn and acquire experience under the tutelage of master chef Karol Okrasa and his team. 2012 saw him receive the prestigious title “Chef – Discovery of the Year”, and, a year later, he and Team Polska Gastronomia placed 4th at the Internationaler Leipziger Preis der Koche.

Szymon Szlendak has twice had the honor of working on the official Independence Day banquet at the Presidential Palace. He was also responsible for the dinner served to the King and Queen of Belgium in the Belgian embassy in Warsaw. During the 2016 Polish Culinary Cup, he presided over the technical aspects of the competition.
He is currently employed by the InterContinental Warsaw hotel, and is also a juror for the prestigious KPP competition. In addition, Szymon Szlendak is the Secretary of the Management Board of the Euro-Toques Polska Association. He believes that Polish chefs and restaurateurs should include more domestic products and recipes in their menus to promote the richness of Polish cuisine.
